The Totally Awesome Fishing Show was set up in August 2011 as a birthday present from a son to his father. Initially it began with this website www.totallyawesomefishing.com whereby fishing journalist and photographer Graeme Pullen could upload some of his fishing articles and pictures. Before long we started doing videos with a small camcorder and set up a youtube account called TAFishing.
To our surprise our fishing videos went viral and since then we have upgraded the camera and editing equipment and have now turned into one of the largest online fishing shows in the World! The show covers all aspects of fishing: Freshwater fishing (Coarse), saltwater fishing, fly fishing, shark fishing and big game fishing. Much of the format of our videos is aimed at helping beginners learn to fish and get them into the sport. There are a number of “How To” videos as well as “Beginners tips” videos. It is still run by Graeme and his son Mike Pullen. Graeme is the producer of the show, he is also the main presenter and with his experience of over 40 years of fishing our videos are not only packed full of great tips for beginners and experienced anglers alike, but they also have a comical and laid back format to make easy watching. Mike also features in a number of episodes and he manages this website, our social media as well as editing all of the videos.
Since August 2011 we have now released three feature length DVD’s as well as a range of “Totally Awesome Fishing” branded clothing which are now available on our online shop on the website. We are still pushing to be the biggest online fishing show in the world. From doing research and looking at our statistics we seem to be the fastest growing fishing show on the internet. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of our loyal subscribers who have followed and supported our show, YOU are the reason we do what we do!
Please take time to have a look around our website. We have a monthly blog, as well as a number of informative and helpful fishing articles.
