The Totally Awesome Fishing Show

Latest News…

2014 = The year of the all-round angler? Well it surely has to be with all the weather being thrown at us. I for one am grateful to call upon all the skills I may have accrued over the last 50 years, which enables me to change from a flyrod to a beach rod, a match rod to a Big Game rod. So with the rivers in flood and not much chance of action with Pike or Barbel, it was a case of out with the beach rods as a new shore fishing film was due to be made by the Totally Awesome Fishing Show production team! Well, suffice it to say it’s tough on the beach out there, as it always is during the months of January. The Whiting obliged, but only just, and I think I hit four different beaches in two sessions, including getting stuck in the mud at Warsash, then toppling over to fall in! What fun. So my hunch is to make a call to a contact in the Bristol Channel which is just about to come alive with some good Cod fishing. Shore or Boat, I don’t care its time to load up on some FISH!

Wayne’s 1lb 2oz winning Flounder

As it was, our small boat guru Wayne Comben came good in the ECA Flounder cup and weighed in the only Flounder of the comp at 1lb 2oz. It was ‘fish of the day’ Totally Awesome!

Well the YouTube numbers are still flying! We have no less than 9 videos over 100,000 views now. One is over 300,000 and another is over 200,000. All in just 2 years. Crazy. Thanks to everyone who has subscribed to us on YouTube. If you go to ‘Manage my subscriptions’ on your youtube settings you can actually opt to receive a notification email as soon as we have uploaded a video. We are still getting emails coming through with people expressing interest in the Totally Awesome Fishing day out with Graeme & Mike. It is likely to start off with Carp and Trout fishing and then we will hopefully move onto beach and river fishing (maybe some boat fishing too). If you are reading this email and haven’t heard of the fishing day out yet, then please email me on: and I will put you on a mailing list. Once we have an idea on numbers we can then decide a venue.

Last weeks video saw Graeme and fellow angler Wayne Comben head out boat fishing in search of some Flatfish. With thousands of views already (not even been up a week), it’s an AWESOME video and one not to miss. Here is the latest video (click the image to play it):
