The Totally Awesome Fishing Show – News

GRAEME:

It certainly looks like a week of non-fishing, with the rain due in, followed by cold weather. When you get a high pressure pushing a low pressure out of the way in the winter it generally means a “set” of easterly airflow and all the fish get “ZIPLIP”!!! In contrast when you get a warm low pressure moving in AFTER a cold high, the fish relent from their jaw-seizure and start to come on the feed. That’s if the rivers and saturated ground does not get even more rain. Cold weather will hold back the percolation of water running from land into rivers, and that gives everything the chance to go clear. Clear water in our diary reads…PIKE !!   Yaaaayyyy !!!!   So this week looks like Graeme will be doing all his journalistic stuff in trying to track down a good story to make another Totally Awesome Fishing Film. But don’t worry, there’s another full length EXCLUSIVE film already in the final edit for this coming Friday at 7pm. Plus we are getting close to another impressive milestone. Almost 200 new fishing films, free to watch, in just about 30 months. And who would have thought a self-funded father and son combo could film, produce, edit and publish that number of new films entirely alone in their spare time!!!!. Small wonder that THE TOTALLY AWESOME FISHING SHOW is the fastest growing all-round fishing Show on YouTube. Over 28,000 subscribers. Help us out. Spread the word to others and see if we can pass that exclusive 30,000 subscriber number. Yes, we are getting copied, ideas, marketing, film shots, tactics, but they simply can’t live with us thanks to you guys out there, who appreciate we really are trying to put the fun back into fishing, with no “Tackle-ramming” by superheroes !!! T.A.F….It’s the way forward……

MIKE:

Although things are pretty busy at work at the moment I am still cramming in the time to edit your weekly ‘fix’ of Totally Awesome Fishing videos! As soon as I finish editing one video, it seems like another appears on the timeline. But I can’t complain when we are receiving such good feedback from you guys! It really is Totally Awesome to do what we do, even if it is part time. The YouTube numbers continue to fly, our social media is also picking up, with over 3,000 followers on our Facebook and over 600 following us on Twitter.

Unfortunately as I am on teacher training this year I have not yet had time to get out and fish. It’s starting to build up and I’m desperate to wet a line for just about any species at the moment! I have half term coming up so hopefully (weather permitting) there will be a two day slot where I can go fishing. (The other days of half term are taken up by teacher training residential days …boring I know!)

A DATE FOR YOUR DIARY: On the 23rd and 24th of February Graeme and Mike will be able to answer your questions IN PERSON at The Big One show in Farnborough. We will be on the Lindon Lewis Marine Stand where you can check out one of the boats that Graeme caught a big 20lb Pike on in our How to catch big Pike from a boat video.

Last week saw a Totally Awesome DOUBLE EPISODE. We hope you enjoyed them. Here they are if you haven’t seen them:
